Copenhagen, Denmark - In 2014, host country Denmark will be staging its national final at the Arena Fyn in Odense with a spectacular show planned for Saturday the 8th of March.

The last time Dansk Melodi Grand Prix was held on Funen was in 1993 when Tommy Seebach won the right to fly the Danish flag in Millstreet with the song Under stjernerne på himlen. Back then the event was held at the Odense Kongrescenter and in 2014 the event will hosted at the much larger Arena Fyn.

Dansk Melodi Grand Prix has become an institution, not only in Denmark, but also among fans the world over, all of whom have eagerly been awaiting today's news. As such, the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest will take place on the 6th, 8th and 10th of May at the B&W-Hallerne on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen. As the host country, Denmark is automatically qualified to the Grand Final.Link
