Something unexpected
Lynda Woodruff is a character played by the Swedish singer Sarah Dawn Finer. "What’s really weird is that there’s still people who haven’t understood that it’s me," Dawn Finer says.
While most of Europe remembers her from Baku where she was the Swedish spokesperson giving their points, her story started in the Swedish national selection, Melodifestivalen. She appeared first in front of a bigger audience at the 2012 show with a sketch where she introduced Baku and Azerbaijan.
"We wanted to do something that people would not usually see me do," says Sarah Dawn Finer. "But then, I did not even know that skit would be included in the broadcast."
From there on she shot to stardom and has become a well-known character among the fans as well as the viewers.
