The program is led by Gina Dirawi and sent to the two semi-finals and the grand final. Each episode is one hour long and will be broadcast live from the press center in Malmö - in the same building as the performers warming up in their dressing rooms.
- The idea is to push up the atmosphere before the race, and that the information and entertainment make people even more stoked says producer Henrik Johnsson.
He comes along with the rest of the editorial team to put together a program based on three pillars - funny archival material, reports from the festivities in Malmö , and gossip about the contestants artists.
"I love the whole thing"
As host of "Live: Studio Eurovision" we see Gina Dirawi, who a few weeks ago led Melodifestivalen with Danny Saucedo. Besides guiding viewers between elements Gina to meet current guests and take the pulse of some of the contestants artists - and she is looking forward her task.
- I love the whole thing with the Eurovision machine, to see what other countries think is good or uninteresting music. It will be so fun to be with on a corner in Malmö. It's not every year we have Eurovision, she says."A tremendous joy and anticipation"
According to Henrik Johnsson was an easy choice to give Gina program management job.
- Gina's strength is that she is a driving program leader who can take the program forward, as she may grant with a lot of humor, he says.
Now he longs to experience the buzz of Malmö, which he says is an excellent venue for the Eurovision Song Contest.
- The hope is to spread the mood further. It boils already in Malmö and there is a huge joy and anticipation.
